Slow Stitch Saturdays

Science shows that taking time to engage in handcrafts can improve mental wellbeing, and there sure is something to be said for sitting together and crafting. Enjoy our peaceful studio, have a cup of tea and bikkie and get cosy on our lovely sofa.

Bring your own project, or use our supplies! The haberdashery shop will be open to purchase from and if you’re an absolute beginner and just want to join in, our experienced tutors can help set you up with your own hand stitching project. From hoop embroidery, to lucet work, felt stitching, crochet and more - we can share our knowledge and get you started. We also have a library of craft books to get you inspired!

Suitable for all ages and levels, including absolute beginners.

Third Saturday of every month.

Open to all projects and previous levels of experience. Please book a free 15 minute project Goal Setting session before the first class to discus your sewing project.

Previous experience using a domestic sewing machine is highly recommended.
